The Town of Colrain Police Department is seeking qualified candidates to fill positions for part-time police officers.

Candidate Minimum Qualifications: high school diploma, at least 21 years of age, possess a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and a valid Massachusetts License to Carry or the ability to possess one. Applicants MUST also have graduated from the M.P.T.C. Full-Time Academy or Bridge Academy with ability to be P.O.S.T. certified for a part-time position. Candidates will be expected to pass a background check, including CORI, and have an acceptable driving record. Current starting hourly pay for part-time officers is $25.94.
