Starting rate of pay $17.75 -$18.25

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide essential support to individuals with disabilities or Autism in various settings, including home and community care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with disabilities and a strong commitment to enhancing their quality of life through assistance and care. This role requires a blend of patience, empathy, and practical skills to ensure the well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities, including appointments, errands, meal preparation, and medication management as needed.
Provide support in community integration activities, ensuring clients can participate in social events and outings.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements

High school diploma / GED
Acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license and access to an automobile that can be used to transport individuals
Acceptable CORI, DPPC record request, and background fingerprinting check required
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is helpful.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
A compassionate attitude toward providing care and support to individuals in need.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records and documentation.
