***Dates: March 23, 2026 – June 30, 2026 (exact dates discussed with Co-directors)***
Job Description: The Performance Project seeks a non-profit, financial or accounting professional with experience in community-based nonprofits and the financial side or accounting for nonprofits, to assist in financial and organizational duties.
Hours: Approx. 10-15 hours per week. Schedule to be determined together with co-directors.
Responsibilities:
FINANCIAL ADMIN SUPPORT
-Support financial recordkeeping of the organization.
-Code and upload to SharePoint: donations, deposits, digital invoices, credit card statements and communicate with NPDM
-Record info in NFG (our donor tracking platform) and on Drive Spreadsheet
-Manage exceptional payments including contractors, invoices, monthly expenses, and fees (also uploading documentation to sharepoint for NPDM).
PAYROLL MANAGEMENT
-Collect youth timesheets and submit for payment
-Submit payroll
ORGANIZATIONAL
-Have comprehensive understanding of annual budgets and grant budgets
-Communicate with co directors & NPDM about organizational budget updates
-New employee onboarding (W9, payroll)
-Track grant spending
-Organize and upload receipts and invoices in Google drive or in physical files
Archive check stubs from NPDM in file cabinet
Qualifications:
➢ 2+ years of experience working with nonprofit financial operations/bookkeeping.
➢ 3 work references in related field.
➢ Proficiency in accounting systems and software (Blackbaud preferred)
➢ MS Office/Google Workspace, especially Excel and Sheets, Sharepoint
➢ Strong attention to detail, confident in math skills
