Overview
We are seeking a skilled (5 year exp) Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret schematics.

Duties

Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, roofs, and cabinets.
Assemble furniture and fixtures according to specifications.
Perform drywall installation and finishing tasks.
Apply plaster and caulking as needed for finishing touches.
Execute concrete forming for foundations and other structures.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion.
Follow safety protocols while working on construction sites.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Experience

Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
Familiarity with carpentry techniques and methods including drywall installation, cabinet installation, plastering, and caulking.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills with a maintenance person mentality to address various challenges that arise during projects.
