Sanderson Academy – Sixth Grade Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-centered Sixth Grade Teacher to join our elementary school team. This teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction across all core academic subjects, including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, while fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

-Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in all core subject areas
-Create a positive, structured classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, inclusion, and engagement
-Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
-Use data to inform instruction and monitor student progress
-Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom updates
-Collaborate with colleagues
