The Town of Leverett is hiring a full-time Police Officer.  Duties to include patrols, emergency and non-emergency response, traffic details, yearly trainings, court, related paperwork and any other duties commensurate with the job of a full-time police officer. This position will require nights, weekends and some holidays. Qualifications include graduate of MPTC full-time academy or POST full-time exemption with preference given to applicants with a full-time academy certification, valid MA driver’s license, valid MA LTC, residence within 30 minutes of the Town, high school diploma.  A Background, Psychological, and Physical will all be required.  Salary to be determined upon qualifications.  Benefits included.
