Performs skilled work in the installation, replacement, repair, maintenance, and inspection of all gas and oil systems, commercial air conditioning and mini split systems for all municipal buildings hereinafter referred to as HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration), and other associated machinery, equipment and systems in City and School facilities.
Special Requirements: High school or GED diploma and a minimum of five (5) years prior work experience working in a large, complex, multi-building facility, or a two (2) year degree in HVACR from an accredited vocational school plus three (3) years field experience. 608 EPA Universal certification, and Hot Works certification required. Experience troubleshooting and repairing gas units required. Must have an acceptable driving record and be insurable under city’s policy. Must pass CORI and SORI check. Will be required to respond to or be on-call for emergency situations outside of normal work hours.
Salary Range $56,180.80- $76,606.40 D.O.E.
