Position Title: Director of Childcare Services

Job Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the Executive Director, the Director of Childcare Services will be responsible for enrollment and eligibility for all programs except camp that are operated by The Learning Knoll.

Duties:

       Oversees/manages the enrollment and registration process for all programs at The Learning Knoll both Greenfield and Shelburne Falls Campuses.

       Completes state mandated forms for all income programs.

       Accurately enrolls preschool students following the eligibility requirements of Department of Early Education and Care.

       Sets up appointments with parents to review enrollment.

       Transfers student files on an as needed basis.

       Works with confidential information.

       Verifies family income and need eligibility.

       Develops, maintains, and verifies enrollment and intake packet information.       

       Maintains close communication with site supervisors and parents.

       Performs general office functions on an as needed basis.

Education and Experience:

Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.

Experience: Previous experience as a site director preferred but not necessary.

Salary: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
