The Academy at Charlemont, nestled in the foothills of the Berkshire mountains, has been providing an exceptional college-preparatory education to students for over 40 years. Our mission is to deliver a rigorous education and fosters joyful engagement, active citizenship, and the desire for justice in each student. The Academy’s Athletic Director holds the long term vision for the athletic program at The Academy, embodying The Academy spirit of inclusion, sportsmanship, and hard work. As part of the River Valley Athletic League, The Academy participates in competitive soccer, cross-country, basketball, and Ultimate seasons, while also providing noncompetitive options such as hiking, fitness, and whitewater kayaking. The part-time Athletic Director manages all logistics associated with The Academy athletic program including scheduling, managing equipment, overseeing coaches, and coordinating transportation. Prior experience with coaching, logistical coordination, and efficient and clear communication is necessary.
